OLD BUSINESS: The first order was to discuss which Corporate Sponsors still need a banner. Cecil Mondays needs one, Lumpy’s needs one and Fiesta Flavors needs one. Josh and Andy will deliver Lumpy’s to them after the meeting tonight and Josh will ensure the others get theirs. Rich Riggs who signed up Cecil Mondays informed the board that Roger from Cecil Mondays donated his membership to Scott Robinson of Eudora and Rich will ensure Scott gets his membership card.
The next issue was to discuss Sid’s Poker Run, Diane Hunt was not present again and has not provided any updates since she volunteered to coordinate this event and as thus was replaced. Josh Monney and Jenny Moses (KBEF Web Master) will handle the cards at Sid’s Run. Sid’s Run will be a simple event with no raffle items or no 50/50 cash draw. Wally Borth is one of the KBEF’s new Corporate Sponsors and Sid’s run will end at his business. Wally has booked the band Arsenal for this event and, as I understand it, is not charging a cover charge, so please ensure you help Wally out with tips to help offset the cost of the band.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Jeff Lewis informed the board there was $11,369.53 in the fund. Good job this month to all those members out there signing up new sponsors and members. Together we increased the fund over $700.00 this month. That is over $1700.00 we have added to the fund in the last two months, great work. Jeff informed the board we have earned $34.54 interest in 2007 thus far.
NEW BUSINESS: The first order of new business was to discuss membership and corporate sponsors. Chuck Tapp, Teri Hodges and Kenny Nave all renewed their memberships and Cecil Mondays donated their membership to Scott Robinson.
