Meeting Minutes from 8 September 2008
The 41st meeting was called to order by Josh Monney at 7:07 pm at JT’s Sports Bar and Grill on 8 September 2008. The following individuals were present at the meeting: Josh Monney, Chuck Tapp, Jeff Lewis and Andy Musto.

OLD BUSINESS: First item discussed was status of KBEF License plates being ordered. – Motion was made to readdress this issue as there is a question about the amount to order and the price if we were to order a lesser amount. Josh will call to see what 50 plates would cost us versus 125. We don’t need 75 to 100 unsold plates lying around.

Second item discussed has Whole Lot of Wings and Things received their Corporate Sponsor Certificate yet? This issue was tabled until we talk with Rodney Rulon as he was sent the certificate a couple of weeks ago by Josh.

Third item discussed was who if anyone do we still owe an event to this year. Originally we thought we owed Gringos, Wally’s, Whole Lot of Wings & Things & Cecil Mondays events. However, after further research we discovered that the Halloween Ride went through Wally’s in October of 2007 and we made a stop at Cecil Mondays on Sid’s Run even though they were not listed on the flyer. We also made an attempt to act as parking attendants at Whole Lot of Wings and Things for their recent event they had, however they failed to get in touch with us. Gringo’s is the only Corporate Sponsor we have not had an event for this year.

TREASURER’S REPORT: Andy presented the treasurers report. There is $14,099.68 in the fund. This amount includes a $50.00 donation from the Tumbleweed Bar and Grill for a Poker Run that Andy and Jenny Moses helped with. Plus the sell of four coozie cups. This amount also includes $40.00 towards Damen Bird’s membership renewal

NEW BUSINESS: - First item discussed was to discuss memberships and corporate sponsors. No new members or Corporate Sponsors. There are a couple of Corporate Sponsors that are due for renewal they are: Tracy’s Tavern, Wally’s Bar and Grill and Jobsite Bar and Grill.

- Second item discussed was the members that have renewal fees due or coming due are: Chuck Tapp, Steve Kolbeck, Teri Hodges, Damen Bird, Scott Robison, Lynn Tapp, Kennith Nave, Lance Wipf and Wally Borth. Chuck Tapp indicated he would renew the Jobsite’s Corporate Sponsorship and he was not sure if Lynn was going to renew her membership or not.

- Third item discussed was the 2008 Photo Gallery on the website. Jenny has posted 34 pictures on the site for 2008 and she has more to come if anyone has any photos of KBEF events in 2008 please get them to Jenny Moses so she can get them posted.

- Fourth item discussed was a motion to change meetings to once every two months at least through the winter months. The motion was seconded and voted on and passed.

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting, motion was seconded and meeting was adjourned at 7:45 pm.

The next meeting will be conducted at Lumpy’s in Olathe at 7:00 p.m. on the 6th of November 2008. (Thursday night)
